What can you learn from traveling?
My last hours in Sri Lanka
This is the first page of this new space, where I will transmit all the essence I wanted to share by creating Carmi around, a blog that wants to speak the truth about traveling in the most transparent way.
If you are new here, here's my story short :)

It's usually easier to share advice and travel tips, but it's always harder to share authentic emotions that travel can make you live.
This is the first page of this series of diary pages. The ones that let the emotion and lesson learned speak. A page to find inspiration and go beyond what we only see from the outside.
It won't be in chronological order since there will be thoughts written in different moments and because the objective is not to tell one story but to inspire through real emotions of life episodes.

This is a page of my last day in a magic country called Sri Lanka.
My last hours in Sri Lanka
March 7th, 2024
"I'm in the airport of Colombo, sipping an iced coffee and realizing that it’s the end of an amazing adventure.
A trip that was not planned, brought by an impulsive energy that was telling me to go for it, that I was trying to contain for fear for judgment. I am proud of myself because I let it win, I let this energy win.
Last night, I was in the room of a guesthouse, one of the many rooms I slept in in Sri Lanka, feeling the need to cry my emotions out, but I couldn’t, they were not ready. And now, I am sitting in the airport cafe, surrounded by travelers, and I suddenly feel the need to write, and here, my tears found their way out of my body.
If there is something that I learned along the way, it is that there is nothing more beautiful than accepting your emotions, is here where you will arrive to realize how many things you are experiencing in life and how brave you have been.
I feel so grateful for all this.
Travel as much as you want and as much as you can, I’ve learned so much about myself while traveling than in all my life.''
Have you felt the same during the end of one of your trips? If yes, where?
Tell me in the comments below, and let's inspire each other!
Thank you for reading, always.
